I’m very glad to make a speech here. The topic of my speech is "be a civilized, courteous person."

我们都知道，中国是人类历史上的四大文明古国之一，是一个幅员辽阔、资源丰富，历史悠久的礼仪之邦,五千年的发展，中华民族世代相传了许多传统和美德。
Good manners are so important in our society. Each of us was still babbling, Our parents education how we treat people politely, When we enter the school, the teacher teaches us how to speak civilized and moral, it can be said that each of us knows how to be a civilized person. However, I would like to ask you: as a student in the new century, how will you show our elegant demeanor? How to make our school image better? 作为一个新世纪的学生，作为祖国的花朵和世界的未来，我们必须成为一个文明的学生!但是我们怎样才能成为一个文明的学生呢?见到老师和客人主动问好;在楼梯上不拥挤，注意谦让;讲究卫生，不乱扔垃圾，看到纸屑随时捡起;爱护公物，不乱写乱划;与学生，能和睦相处，友好合作。错了，要道歉，要互相尊重和信任。在家，孝顺父母，体贴父母，尊敬长辈。在长辈面前要听批评、不耍脾气，不要抵触，热情、慷慨、礼貌地待客。在外面，遵守交通规则，不乱扔纸屑，保护环境卫生;帮助别人，总是为别人着想。
