1.自我介绍
Good morning\\afternoon! It is my pleasure to have this opportunity for an interview and I hope I can make a good performance today.
First, I’d like to briefly introduce myself. My name is Liubo, I’m 26 years old and I come from Shenzhen, a big modern city. There are three members in my family. My father is a lawyer and my mother is a housewife. I have got my bachelor’s degree at Hunan Normal University in July, 2008 and my major is journalism. After graduation, I worked as an editor of an internal periodical in a semiconductor corporation. And I also was in charge for some secretary affairs. When I was preparing documents I had to spend lots of time to communicate with all kinds of departments, especially legal department. During this period, I found myself interested in law very much. I believed that, compared with Journalism, law is more professional and useful.Therefore, I often read law books carefully in my spare time . A year later, I resigned my editor work and joined Liu&Wang law firm as a legal assistant. But shortage of professional knowledge embarranssed me very much and had badly influenced my performance. So, I made up my mind to turn to law profession. I hope I could succeed in this LLM entrance examination and start my law dream.
I’m open-minded, rational and have a sense of responsibility. In my spare time, I have broad interests as other youngsters. I like reading books, especially those about literature, history and sociology. Frequently, I share my ideas with others by making comments about the latest news. Besides, I like climbing, music
and classic films. All these interests not only enrich my spirit but also strong my body.
I like changes in my life, and I will try my best to overcome all the difficulties in my studying in future. If I could be lucky enough to be one member of this great university, I will perish this hard-won opportunity and make good use of time to concentrate on my study and make great efforts to learn as much as possible. 2、Why do you choose to study in our university?
I love the feeling in the university. It’s full of youthful spirit. And I’m deeply attracted by scholarly atmosphere. Most importantly, your college has a good reputation in the field where my research interest lies and so many excellent teachers who have strong research abilities. That’s why I choose to further my study here, it’s my great honor to enjoy your teaching.
3、Would you like to say something about your university?
I graduated from Hunan Normal University which has a history of 73 years, is located in Changsha, a famous city with great historical and cultural interests, the main campus lies between Xiangjiang river and ever green Yuelu Mountian. As an academic institution of higher education with a full range of disciplines, the university has become a national “211 Project” university.
4、How are you benefited at your university?
It’s my first time to leave parents and live alone, I have learned to get along with my roommates, made up everything by myself, I think four years’ studying there makes me an independent and optimistic girl. And I have learned quiet a lot about Journalism on both theorietical and practical sides. All the knowledge my teachers taught me has developed my abilities in related aspects and help me a lot in my job. I very appreciate the education my university has give me.
5、Tell me something about your most impressive teacher at college?
There are two teachers impressed me very much. One teacher is doctor Cai, he graduated from University of Galifornia, taught us Intercultural Communication and Media Communication. His special teaching methods and rich knowledge took a benefit to me. Mr.Wei, who taught us Editing in Journalism, was another teacher impressed me lot. He propose us to insist of justice and classical principle, not only in news reporting, but also in our life. His words inspared me deeply. I think it also the common ground between Journalism and Law.
6、What course do you like best in your university?
Intercultural Communication is always my favorite course. We study culture phenomenon from different ways. My paper is about this, discussing a TV play named Desperate Housewives, from some perspectives, just like Feminism、Postmodernism、Consumerism and so on. I think it’s interesting and attract me
much.
7、Tell us something about your major in the university?
My major is Journalism. I have taken fifteen course, including Editing、Chinese Literature、Writing、 Intercultural Communication and so on. Our teachers always told us “If you want to be a good reporter, you should have wide range of knowledge .”
8、Can you recall one exciting experience you have got at college?
Oh, I can say there are lots of unforgettable experience. Among them, the successful performance of a drama which was written and directed by ourselves should rank the top. In this play, we try to express our feeling in real life, the young’s confusion and dream, they try their best to overcome obstacles and want to achieve success.
