摘要：In a method for detecting a periodically pulsing operating parameter of aninternal combustion engine () having the steps of acquiring a measured variable of theperiodically pulsing operating parameter of the internal combustion engine () in order to
generate a periodically pulsing measuring signal, discretization of the measuring signal inthe time range with a fixed time increment, wherein in each case a number of discretemeasured values is obtained corresponding to the number of time increments of theperiod over a period of the measuring signal, wherein the measured values in each caseare considered as representative of the measuring signal in the respective timeincrement, and developing an average value over the period of the measuring signal, inthat an average value is calculated from the discrete measured values, improved averagevalue development for acquired pulsing operating parameters of an internal combustionengine is enabled, in that in at least one of the discrete measured values an
approximation is made of the course of the measuring signal over the associated timeincrement () with a polynomial in order to obtain the discrete measured value.
